Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is printed in orange-red and black on grey paper, with a double ruled border framing the entire design. A central vignette presents the city gate of Oldenburg in Holstein rendered in red brick, with a round arch gateway through which the numeral '75' appears in a cartouche; above the gate rises a turret surmounted by the Holstein shield in orange-red. Gothic script text flanks the gate on both sides, with the issuer's name 'Der Stadt Oldenburg in Holstein' and validity clause disposed around the vignette, and a manuscript magistrate signature appears at lower right.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse is executed in orange-red and black with a triple ruled frame enclosing three vertical panels. The central panel contains a detailed line-drawn vignette of the Oldenburg town hall (Rathaus) with its distinctive clock tower, flanked by adjacent townhouses rendered in orange-red; the artist's signature 'H. BRÜGGE' appears at lower right of this vignette. The left and right panels each carry a silhouette figure — a scribe or townsman at left and a night watchman with lantern and halberd at right — each accompanied by an orange-red circular denomination medallion reading '75'. A two-line inscription in Low German dialect runs along the bottom panel, with 'NOTGELD' and 'OLDENBURG i.H.' lettered in the upper corners.
