| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in orange-red and black on grey paper, with a double ruled border framing the entire design. The central panel contains a detailed line-drawn vignette of the Oldenburg town hall (Rathaus) with its distinctive clock tower, flanked by adjacent townhouses rendered in orange-red; the artist's signature 'H. BRÜGGE' appears at lower right of this vignette. The left and right panels each carry a silhouette figure — a scribe or townsman at left and a night watchman with lantern and halberd at right — each accompanied by an orange-red circular denomination medallion reading '75'.
