| Reverse description | The reverse presents a colourful lithographed composition on a pale blue-grey ground enclosed by a gold and green ornamental border. A central oval vignette, framed in gold, illustrates a street scene in which soldiers exchange tobacco pipes beside a horse-drawn vehicle hung with German imperial flags, with a child onlooker; the vignette is signed 'Ludwig Douzal, Plau' at lower left. Denomination panels reading '75 Pfg.' appear in red at upper left and upper right, while Low German verse quotations in gothic script by Rudolf Tarnow fill both lateral margins, and a decorative foliate frieze runs along the lower edge. |
