Reverse description The reverse is rendered in black line-work on a warm ochre-toned paper ground, enclosed by a fine geometric guilloche border. The central vignette is a detailed topographic scene of Lenzen's old town street, dominated by the massive cylindrical 'Stümpfer Turm' — a round medieval stone tower surmounted by a cross — rising above flanking half-timbered and rendered buildings, with two figures in period dress on the cobbled street below. A caption panel at the foot of the vignette identifies the landmark and its historical significance.
Reverse lettering Stümpfer Turm. Wahrzeichen der alten
Stadtbefestigung aus dem 13. Jahrhundert.
