| Reverse description | Olive-green notgeld with a central polychrome landscape vignette of a wooded coastal hillside path descending toward the sea, a thatched cottage at right, sailing boats on the water, and seagulls in flight against a pink sky; tall intaglio-style illustrations of the Sellin lighthouse with a flagpole flank the scene on either side. The denomination '75' is printed in red and black within shield-shaped cartouches at lower left and right, and a letterpress inscription in Gothic script below the central vignette reads 'Klein aber mein!' |

Sellin, a small seaside resort on the Baltic island of Rügen, issued Notgeld during the early 1920s inflationary period when small-denomination coinage had effectively vanished from circulation. Municipal issues from resort towns like Sellin were often designed with the tourist trade in mind — attractive enough to be kept as souvenirs rather than spent, which is precisely why so many survive in uncirculated condition while the workhorse denominations from industrial cities are genuinely difficult to find.
Stöckel of Hanover handled both design and print. The watermark security feature is atypical for Notgeld of this class and scale.
