| 备注 |
Oberhof was already an established winter sports destination by the early 1920s, and its Notgeld issues reflect that self-conscious identity — the town used emergency currency as much for tourism revenue as for genuine transactional need. Collectors across Germany were actively acquiring provincial Notgeld sets during 1921–22, and many issuing municipalities printed deliberately attractive notes knowing they would never return for redemption.
Meisenbach Riffarth & Co. were lithographic specialists with a strong commercial printing background, and their Leipzig operation handled numerous Thuringian municipal commissions during the Notgeld peak years. The signatory, Rich. Laugenhan, served as Bürgermeister of Oberhof during this period.
