| 裏面の説明 | The reverse carries a stark, expressionistic two-colour vignette set against a near-solid black background, showing a large red silhouette of a chained dog prowling through a dark wooded landscape with a ruined gatehouse visible in the upper right. The denomination numeral '75' is set in white at the upper left corner. Gothic blackletter inscriptions form a two-line verse across the top and bottom borders, completing a local legend couplet. |

Vechta's municipal notgeld issue of 1922 sits at the tail end of the German inflation-era small-change crisis, when hundreds of German towns — Vechta among them — were forced to print their own fractional emergency currency simply to keep local commerce moving. Louis Koch in Halberstadt was a workhorse printer for provincial notgeld contracts across Lower Saxony and beyond; his output for small municipalities during this period was enormous, and quality control varied considerably between runs.
The DeNG reference grouping (variants 1–3/6) suggests multiple color or text variants within the series — typical for Koch's municipal contracts, where plate adjustments between print runs were common and not always documented cleanly by the issuing authority.
