| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central vignette, rendered in fine black line engraving on a plain ground, illustrates a medieval procession scene captioned 'i. Jahre 1383', in which robed figures carrying a cross-staff and relics move through a landscape with a village in the background, referencing the legend of the miraculous blood of Wilsnack. Flanking the central scene on both sides are tall decorative panels in salmon-pink, composed of stylised foliate and geometric guilloche ornaments with large '75' numerals in white on dark hexagonal cartouches above and 'Pfennig' inscriptions below. A scroll-like panel at the bottom carries a Middle Low German inscription relating to the carrying of the Holy Sacrament. |
