Obverse description Central oval vignette presents the silhouetted skyline of Schmölln reflected in a red-tinted body of water, set against a dramatic burst of golden sunrays radiating from behind the town's church towers and rooftops. The denomination numeral 75 appears in each upper corner alongside the abbreviation PF, printed in black on a yellow-orange ground. The four-line verse inscription runs along all sides of the note, framing the central vignette in a decorative letterpress border with black corner squares.
Obverse lettering Der roten Flut der schwarzen Schmach folgt sonnengoldne Zukunft nach!
(Translation: The red tide of black disgrace is followed by the sun-golden future!)
