Obverse description The obverse is printed in deep navy blue and red-orange on white paper, with a bold geometric border of stylised lettering reading GERA-REUSS along all four margins, rotated to run vertically on the sides and inverted along the bottom. The central field, set against a red-orange ground, is dominated by a large black diamond vignette bearing the white numeral '75' above the denomination abbreviation 'PF' in block capitals. Validity and acceptance notices appear in blackletter script in the upper corners, while the issue date 'GERA AM 1.5.1921', serial number, series letter, a circular dry stamp, and a manuscript signature of the Stadtrat are placed along the lower margin.

Reverse description The reverse carries a bold Expressionist vignette in grey-black and red on a silver-grey ground, enclosed by a red rectangular border. At centre-left, a medieval figure in hat and cloak strides forward brandishing a weapon, with flames and a recumbent figure rendered in dynamic, angular strokes above and behind. The denomination '75' appears in large outlined red and white numerals at lower right, flanked by a stylised 'G' monogram at upper left. The inscription 'GELITTEN·RAUB·UND·BRAND' runs across the top and 'IN·FRUEHESTER·ZEIT' along the bottom, with the artist's signature 'KARL SCHNEIDER ERFURT' inscribed along the lower edge of the central vignette.
