| Obverse description | The obverse is a typographically composed Notgeld note printed in dark brown and red on cream paper, framed by a double-ruled border with decorative corner flourishes. The denomination 'Fünfundsiebzig Pfg.' is rendered in large Gothic blackletter script across the centre, with the numeral '75' printed in red at the upper right. A sinuous ribbon banner below carries the payment obligation text, with validity date 'Gültig bis 30 Juni 1922' to the left, a serial number, and a facsimile signature of the Landrat beneath the title 'Der Vorsitzende des Kreisausschusses des Kreises Randow'. |

Randow was a rural district (Landkreis) immediately surrounding the city of Stettin — not part of it administratively, but entirely dependent on it commercially. The Kreiskommunalkasse issuing this note was a district-level fiscal body, not a bank, empowered to produce Notgeld under the inflationary emergency conditions that had by 1921 made small-denomination coinage effectively non-functional in circulation.
M. Bauchwitz was a Stettin printing firm responsible for several local Notgeld issues from the region. The designer credit to Schubert is unusually specific for a piece at this level — most district issues of this type went uncredited.
