Rudolstadt's 75 Pfennig Notgeld of 1921 was printed locally by Lorsch & Nachbar, a Rudolstadt printing house — an arrangement typical of the Notgeld period, when municipal authorities across Weimar Germany contracted whatever regional printer was available rather than waiting on overburdened national suppliers. The hyperinflationary pressures building through 1921 made even small denominations like this one a practical necessity, as metal coinage had effectively vanished from everyday commerce.
The DeNG reference suffix variation (.2-8/10) indicates this belongs to a numbered series of design variants issued under the same municipal authorization.
