| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in brown and olive tones and presents a large central vignette of Ditfurt as it appeared a thousand years ago, with a fortified hilltop settlement, a horse-drawn cart and mounted riders in the foreground, and a wooded landscape receding to the horizon. The vignette is enclosed within a decorative border of vertical column motifs, each bearing a standing medieval figure in period dress — a female figure to the left and a male figure to the right. Denomination numerals "75" appear in the upper corners of the border, the town name "Ditfurt" is inscribed across the top panel in Gothic script, and the caption "vor tausend Jahren" runs along the lower border. |
