A large central oval vignette rendered in fine letterpress encloses a stranded Greenland whale in choppy Baltic waters, with a schematic coastal map above the whale identifying the localities 'Ekesund', 'Broacker', and 'Düppel Mühlen'. The oval is framed by bold scrollwork in the corners, and a two-part Low German verse in two lines above and two lines below the vignette completes the composition. |
