Obverse description A panoramic colour vignette of the town of Hagenow occupies the upper portion of the note, rendered in letterpress with red-roofed buildings, a church steeple, and a distant horizon; the artist's signature 'O. Menzel' appears at lower right of the vignette. A decorative scroll banner beneath bears the issuing authority legend in Gothic script, flanked on left and right by large red denomination numerals '75' with 'Pfg' below, all set against foliate side borders in green. The lower panel contains a Low German verse in italic script, the issue date 'Hagenow, in Oktober 1921', facsimile signatures of municipal officials, and a serial number in bold black typeface.
