表面の説明 The obverse is set within an ornate decorative border of scrollwork and foliate motifs in teal and yellow, with the denomination '75 PFG' in bold Gothic numerals within diamond cartouches at upper left and right. A central oval vignette carries a portrait bust of Kurfürst Friedrich I von Brandenburg in period dress, rendered in fine line engraving against a yellow ground, with the identifying legend arching around the medallion. The denomination in full Gothic script 'Fünfundsiebzig Pfennig' dominates the lower centre, with the issuing authority 'Friesack' displayed in a dark cartouche below, the date 'im November 1921' and a facsimile magistrate signature appearing at lower right, and a validity clause in small Gothic text at lower left.

裏面の説明 The reverse presents a coloured vignette of Burg Friesack as it appeared during the Thirty Years' War, rendered in a detailed illustrative style with the castle complex, towers, and partial ruins occupying the upper portion of the design. In the foreground, a mounted knight on a white horse and a walking figure in period costume animate the scene. The four corners carry the denomination '75' in yellow numerals on dark circular medallions, and the entire composition is enclosed within a red and black decorative border with arabesque ornament. The serial number with series letter appears in a panel at the bottom centre.

Friesack is a small Brandenburg town that had no business issuing its own emergency currency, yet here it is — one of thousands of German municipalities that stepped into the vacuum left by the Reichsbank's inability to supply adequate small-denomination coinage in the early 1920s. The Kleingeldersatz phenomenon peaked around 1921, when inflation was accelerating fast enough to drain coins from circulation but had not yet reached the hyperinflationary collapse that would follow in 1923.

Friesack's series is not among the more elaborately produced Notgeld issues — no special printing house, no collector-targeted artwork campaign of the kind that towns like Bielefeld or Parchim used to generate revenue from hobbyists. This was functional municipal scrip, and its survival rate reflects that.
