Obverse description The upper portion of the note carries a central heraldic vignette of the Quakenbrück town arms: a crenellated city gate with a pointed spire, flanked symmetrically by two rampant golden lions holding a wreath of oak leaves rendered in a bold Art Nouveau lithographic style. The denomination '75' appears at upper left and upper right in large gothic numerals, with the legend 'GUTHABEN DER STADT QUAKENBRÜCK' arching across the top. A lower text panel, printed in italic script, records the issuing authority and bears the date 'den 1. September 1921', with the issuer named as 'Städtische Sparkasse' at lower right.

Reverse description The reverse presents a colourful townscape vignette by W. Kaufmann, showing a street scene in old Quakenbrück with half-timbered gabled buildings, the foremost bearing the sign 'C. TORNOW SATTLERMEISTER'; storks nest on the rooftop while townsfolk in period costume animate the foreground. Vertical side panels in yellow carry the word 'Pfennig' in bold gothic lettering on each side, with the numeral '75' in black on a yellow cartouche at the top of each panel. A lower banner in yellow on black contains a two-line verse inscription, and the printer's imprint 'GERHARD STALLING, OLDENBURG I. O.' appears beneath the design.
