Schubert, presents a split industrial scene: on the left, a large factory complex labelled 'RANDOWLIED V. 70', and on the right, an ironworks with smoking chimneys identified as 'EISENWERK KRAFT' and 'KRAFTWERK'. Below the vignette, a scroll cartouche contains a five-line verse in German ('Hallender Hammerschlag...'), initialled 'F.F.H.', celebrating the steel industry of the region.
