The denomination '75 PFG' appears in red panels at upper left and right, with the town name 'NEUSTADT/MECKL.' in bold lettering across the top. Neustadt in Mecklenburg was a small town issuing Notgeld during the inflationary crisis years, and this 75 Pfennig note is a product of the Bärensprungsche Hofbuchdruckerei in Schwerin — a court printing house with roots in the nineteenth century that handled official Mecklenburg state printing before pivoting to the flood of municipal emergency currency orders after 1918. The designer credit to "Heinberg" is almost certainly a local commercial artist; the name appears on several Mecklenburg-area Notgeld issues from the same period but remains otherwise unattributed in the principal reference literature.
