Obverse description Notgeld coupon printed in brown and red on cream paper, with a decorative ruled border framing the entire design. At top, the denomination "Fünfundsiebzig Pfennig" is set in large Gothic blackletter script. The central vignette presents the numeral 75 in bold red, overlaid with the town coat of arms of Reetz — a quartered shield surmounted by a spread eagle — flanked to the left by a medieval round tower and to the right by a historic town gate. Two scrolling banners carry rhyming inscriptions in Gothic script, and a lower cartouche bears the text "Gutschein der Stadt Reetz" above the issuance date, validity date, and two manuscript signatures of the Magistrat.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in brown and terracotta tones, with ornate scrollwork panels bordering the left and right edges. The header reads "Anno 1848" in large Gothic letters with decorative corner devices. The central vignette depicts a dramatic battle scene recalling the 1848 revolution: a fallen figure lies beneath a rearing horse in the foreground, while a crowd of armed townspeople advances in the background. Below the vignette, two columns of rhyming verse in Gothic script narrate the episode of the Reetz burgomaster leading the citizens against a Polish uprising.
