正面描述 The obverse is centred on a polychrome vignette of the Diepholz district coat of arms — a white unicorn on a red and white divided shield — set within a blue roundel encircled by a wreath of golden wheat ears, from which two ornate pink ribbon scrolls curl outward, each inscribed with the names of local parishes. The denomination '75 PF.' appears in bold blackletter at left and right. A lower text panel in Gothic script records the issuing authority, date of 15 August 1921, serial number, and the manuscript signatures of the Vorsitzender and Direktor of the Kreissparkasse Diepholz.

备注

Kreissparkasse Diepholz was one of hundreds of German district savings banks forced into emergency currency production during the postwar inflation spiral. The 75 Pfennig denomination is characteristic of 1921 Notgeld, when shortages of small Reichsmark coinage made fractional paper substitutes a practical necessity rather than a collector affectation — though the collector market was already distorting production by this point, with some municipalities issuing far more notes than local commerce ever needed.

Casten & Suhling of Bremen handled considerable regional Notgeld work during this period. The dual-signature format — Lohaus and Brauekamp — reflects the standard dual-authorization requirement of German savings bank administration.
