| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in terracotta-red and black on cardboard, the obverse is dominated by a large central vignette of the elaborate quartered coat of arms of Weißensee, surmounted by an ornate crested helm with foliate mantling. A bold numeral '75' and the denomination 'Pfennig' appear in a panel at lower centre. Flanking text panels in Gothic blackletter script carry verse inscriptions and issue conditions, with the date 'den 1. Aug. 1921' and the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' at lower right, accompanied by two manuscript signatures. The header reads 'Notgeld der Stadt Weißensee/i. Thür.' and the printer's imprint 'C. G. Naumann, G.m.b.H. Leipzig' appears in the bottom margin. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse, printed in the same terracotta-red and black palette, is divided into three horizontal registers. The upper and lower registers each present a detailed woodcut-style panoramic townscape of Weißensee: the upper shows a distant view across a river valley with church spires, while the lower offers a close aerial view of the town's rooftops, towers, and surrounding foliage. The central register contains a framed verse inscription in Gothic blackletter flanked by two small vignettes — a bunch of grapes at left and a sheaf of wheat at right — evoking the town's agrarian heritage. The printer's imprint 'Alfred Hanf-Erfurt.' appears in the lower margin. |
