| 表面の説明 | Brown letterpress note with a decorative cracked-mosaic border enclosing the entire face; the four corners carry the denomination numeral '75' in outlined squares. The central field bears a four-line German verse in Kurrent script, followed by the bold title legend 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Neinstedt' underlined across the full width. Below, the validity clause 'Gültig bis zum Aufruf' and the date 'Neinstedt, d. 1. Juli, 1921' flank a circular municipality stamp inscribed 'Fünfundsiebzig Pfennig', with the Gemeindevorstand signature to the right. The printer's imprint 'Dreifarbendruck von Oscar Grupe, Quedlinburg' appears in italic script below the lower border. |

| 裏面の説明 | Multicolour vignette in green, blue, red, and ochre tones, framed by a decorative border with red dot motifs on a green ground and the denomination '75' in each corner. The central pictorial panel presents a colour view of the 'Am Kirchenbrunnen' locality in Neinstedt, with half-timbered houses and a stone tower with a clock visible among lush trees, and tall cypress-like trees flanking the scene on either side. The place name 'Neinstedt a. H.' is inscribed in stylised script along the top border, and the caption 'Am Kirchenbrunnen.' appears in a green panel at the base of the vignette. |

Neinstedt is a small village in the Harz foothills, and this 75 Pfennig note is a product of the broader Notgeld wave that swept German municipalities in 1921 as postwar inflation began eroding the usefulness of official small-denomination coinage. Local administrations across Germany were legally permitted — and practically forced — to fill the gap themselves. Oscar Grupe was a Quedlinburg-based printer who handled Notgeld commissions for several surrounding communities in this period, a sensible arrangement given the geographic proximity.
The 75 Pfennig denomination is among the more unusual choices; most issuers defaulted to 25, 50, and 100 Pfennig.
