The left and right panels each carry a circular portrait vignette within a wreath border: at left, Bishop Otto von Bamberg in ecclesiastical vestments with a caption noting his conversion of the first Pomeranians to Christianity in 1124 at Pyritz; at right, the monk Johann Knipstro with a caption recording his role in spreading the Reformation throughout Pomerania from Pyritz.
