Obverse description The obverse is set within a black border with red corner blocks bearing the denomination numeral '75' in red, and 'Pfg' in red at lower left and right. A decorative wreath of green oak leaves and white roses frames a central oval text field with a light blue underprint. The title 'Lösungsschein' appears at the top in bold blackletter script, with the issuer name 'Frose in Anhalt' in a banner at the foot. The central field carries a four-line patriotic verse in blackletter, concluding with '(wenden)' directing the holder to turn the note over.
Obverse lettering Lösungsschein
Die Not ist groß, die Last ist schwer.
Wer wird sie von uns nehmen?
Kein And'rer hilft, wir müssen's selbst,
soll'n stillen sich die Tränen!
Ein Volk, ein Geist,
ein Wort, ein Ziel,
(wenden)
Frose in Anhalt
75 Pfg
Reverse description The reverse carries a central allegorical vignette, designed by W. Dockhorn, in which a miner in uniform clasps hands with a smith and a harvester, representing the solidarity of local trades and workers, set against a light blue underprint with radiating lines. To the left, industrial chimney stacks emit smoke above machinery; to the right, a barrel, a sailing vessel with flags, and a set of scales allude to commerce and trade. The denomination '75 Pfg.' appears in bold type at upper left and right, while the borders are lined with green oak-leaf garlands interspersed with small heraldic shields; the mining arms appear at the top centre, and a scroll banner at the foot bears the concluding verse line in blackletter.
