| Opmerkingen |
Mücheln, a small town in the Saale district of Saxony, issued this note during the Kleingeldschein period — the wave of municipal emergency currency that flooded Germany between 1918 and 1922 as coin shortages made everyday commerce nearly impossible. The 75 Pfennig denomination is one of five notes in the 0902 series, all printed by Adolf Forker of Leipzig, a commercial printer who handled a significant volume of Notgeld work for Saxon municipalities during this period.
Forker was not a specialist security printer, which is worth noting — these notes carry no sophisticated anti-counterfeiting features beyond the issuing authority's printed authorization.
