A curved arc below the vignette carries the motto 'Nach Golde drängt, am Golde hängt doch Alles', with the designer's attribution 'MAX BAUMANN' inscribed beneath. The lower portion bears the payment obligation text in Gothic script, the date '24. Dezember 1920', a circular Magistrat seal, and two manuscript signatures. |
