Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse bears the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, depicting the Queen in a mature portrait with a pearl necklace and wearing a diadem. The circular legend reads CANADA • ELIZABETH II around the upper periphery, with the date 2009 inscribed below the portrait. To the left of the effigy appears the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Inukshuk logo alongside the Olympic rings emblem, both serving as co-branding elements for the Games. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a polished field characteristic of proof coinage.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse features a vivid full-color applied image of a running wolf depicted in dynamic stride across a snow-covered landscape, rendered with naturalistic detail in dark grey, black, and amber tones. The wolf is shown in a low, powerful lunge, its paws leaving tracks in the snow-covered ground, evoking the wilderness of the Canadian North. The legend VANCOUVER 2010 arcs across the upper periphery in yellow gold lettering, while the denomination 75 DOLLARS appears along the lower rim. The engraver's initials AN are visible in the lower right field. The colored central design is set within the characteristic warm gold-toned bimetallic field of the coin.
