| Aanvullende informatie |
This piece belongs to the RCM's coloured coin program, which by 2010 had been running for over a decade and had turned the Mint into one of the world's leading producers of collector-targeted issues with applied enamel and pigment work. The 14-karat gold composition — unusual in a market dominated by 24-karat bullion and 22-karat circulation standards — was chosen specifically for the collector series to balance cost against the prestige of a gold designation.
No secondary market pressure from circulation. These were sold directly to collectors at issue, and survival rates in original packaging are correspondingly high.
