Reverse description The reverse, designed by Konrad Wachelko, features a naturalistic composition depicting a maple branch bearing several freshly unfurled spring leaves rendered in vivid hand-applied colour, showcasing shades of bright and deep green to evoke the vitality of the season. Nestled beneath the coloured foliage is an uncoloured gold bird's nest containing eggs, subtly positioned at the lower centre of the field and lending a sense of new life and seasonal renewal to the design. The engraver's initials 'AN' appear discreetly to the lower left of the nest. The legend 'CANADA' arcs along the upper field in a stylised script, while the denomination '75 DOLLARS' and the date '2010' are inscribed in matching script at the lower field.
