| 表面の説明 | Reddish dominant tonality over a fine guilloche underprint; the central vignette presents the historic first raising of the Indonesian flag on 17 August 1945, flanked at left and right by portrait vignettes of Proclamation heroes Soekarno and Mohammad Hatta, with the national coat of arms at upper right. The lower register carries a composite intaglio vignette of national infrastructure achievements — the Trans-Java Toll Road, the Jakarta MRT, and the Youtefa Bridge in Papua — rendered against the guilloche ground. The denomination numeral 75000 and the commemorative inscription '75 Tahun Indonesia Merdeka 1945–2020' appear within the upper border. |

The 75 000 rupiah denomination was struck as a commemorative issue for Indonesia's 75th independence anniversary in 2020 — an unusual face value created specifically for the occasion rather than slotted into the standard circulation series. Bank Indonesia has used commemorative notes sporadically since the 1990s, but a dedicated denomination at this scale is rare even by regional standards.
Perum Peruri has handled Indonesian banknote production since the early 1970s, unusual for a developing economy that might otherwise have contracted the work abroad. The Karawang facility prints the full domestic series in-house.
