| 背面描述 | Central device depicts a Ligwalagwala (Purple-crested Turaco), the national bird of Swaziland, rendered in high relief with wings fully spread in a dynamic flying pose, its feathers finely detailed. The legend H.M. 75th ANNIVERSARY arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1974 positioned to the right field. Below the bird, the inscription LIGWALAGWALA appears on one line, followed by the denomination 7 1/2 EMALANGENI in two lines across the lower portion of the coin. The overall composition is clean and well-balanced within the decagonal format, with a deeply mirrored proof field enhancing the central motif. |

Sobhuza II holds the record as the longest-reigning monarch in verified history, having ascended to the Swazi throne in 1921 and ruled until his death in 1982. This issue, struck to mark his 75th birthday, was produced at a moment when Swaziland's post-independence coinage was still young — the country had only introduced the lilangeni in 1974, the same year this piece was minted. The denomination itself, 7½ emalangeni, reflects the decimal-adjacent fractional values the Central Bank employed for commemorative purposes in the early series.
