| Reverse description | Central device depicts a Ligwalagwala (Purple-crested Turaco), the national bird of Swaziland, rendered in high relief with wings fully spread in a dynamic flying pose, its feathers finely detailed. The legend H.M. 75th ANNIVERSARY arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1974 positioned to the right field. Below the bird, the inscription LIGWALAGWALA appears on one line, followed by the denomination 7 1/2 EMALANGENI in two lines across the lower portion of the coin. The overall composition is clean and well-balanced within the decagonal format, with a deeply mirrored proof field enhancing the central motif. |
