Reverse description An allegorical female figure representing Brandenburgia sits on a rocky outcrop facing left, her left hand raised to her cheek in a contemplative pose and her right hand resting on a long staff or pickaxe handle. Archaeological artifacts are scattered at her feet in the lower left. In the background to the right, the Roland statue of Berlin and the Märkisches Provinzialmuseum building on the Spree river are depicted in relief. The legend 'BRANDENBURCIA' arcs along the upper rim, with 'IHREM VORSITZENDEN' and the date '23. VI. 1907' inscribed along the lower rim.
