| Beschrijving voorzijde | Light blue ground with a bold woodcut-style vignette of a full-rigged sailing ship at centre, flanked by the large red gothic numerals '70' at left and 'Pf' at right, with the Kiel municipal coat of arms superimposed at the ship's bow. A banner across the lower centre carries the gothic script inscription 'Kieler Herbstwoche für Kunst und Wissenschaft' and the date '1921 / 10.–18. September'. A text panel at the foot gives the redemption conditions, with the printer's imprint 'Gebr. Parcus München' at lower right. The entire design is framed by a decorative black border carrying a continuous gothic motto. |
