Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Emperor Rudolf II facing right, with a prominent large knot-shaped fold visible on the shoulder. The date 1611 appears in the field before the bust. The surrounding Latin legend is largely divided to the front of the effigy and enclosed within an inner beaded or leaf circle, consistent with the elaborate Habsburg imperial portraiture of the period.
