A central starburst rosette in raised relief occupies the middle field, at the centre of which appears a mint mark rendered as a stylised letter. Seven black gemstones are embedded at equidistant points around the sphere's widest circumference, symbolising the Seven New Wonders of the World. The circular legend 'SEVEN DOLLARS' arcs around the upper portion of the central band, with the fineness and weight designation 'AG 999 7 OZ' inscribed along the lower arc in raised Latin characters.
