| Obverse description | Central field features two stylized peacocks rendered in the manner of classical Iznik tilework, facing one another amid flowering tulips and foliate sprigs, their elaborate plumage rendered in fine relief. The Turkish crescent-and-star emblem appears to the left within the border, with a small mint mark to the right. The circular legend along the upper periphery reads TURKİYE CUMHURİYETİ, while the denomination 7.500.000 LİRA and date 2001 are inscribed along the lower border. |

The surrounding legend along the upper arc reads GELENEKSEL TURK EL SANATLARI, referencing traditional Turkish handicrafts.
