Obverse description The obverse of this rectangular bullion coin features a radiating guilloche sunburst pattern filling the entire field, creating a striking visual backdrop. Centrally positioned within a raised circular cartouche is the fourth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, rendered after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, showing a right-facing diademed and draped bust. The circular legend surrounding the effigy reads 'ELIZABETH II' to the left and '7.50 DOLLARS COOK ISLANDS' to the right, with the date '2017' appearing below the portrait. Above the central medallion, the inscriptions '250g COIN', 'FINE SILVER', and '.9999' are struck into the field. The Sunshine Minting mint mark 'SMI' appears at the base of the coin, accompanied by the 'SMIC' mint mark logo.
