| 正面描述 | Draped bust of Queen Sirikit facing slightly to the right, her hair arranged in an elegant upswept chignon surmounted by a small crown. The Queen wears a formal costume with a decorative bow at the neckline. Thai script legends flank the portrait on both sides of the field, identifying the subject. |

Issued to mark Queen Sirikit's 50th birthday in August 1982, this coin was struck during a period when the Thai government was producing commemorative gold with unusual frequency — partly as a revenue mechanism and partly to satisfy strong domestic demand for royally-sanctioned bullion. Queen Sirikit had by this point become the more publicly active of the two monarchs, frequently representing the Crown abroad while Rama IX focused on rural development projects.
Fr#42 in Friedberg's gold census places it firmly in the modern commemorative category, with collector premiums historically tracking royal sentiment rather than metal value.
