To the left of the cypher, the denomination '600' is expressed in two curved lines of numerals arranged vertically, flanked by small pellets. To the right, three decorative rosettes or quatrefoil flowers are arranged vertically in the field. The date is inscribed along the lower portion of the field. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed border, with small pellets delineating the curved zones characteristic of this series. |

The Rio de Janeiro mint mark 'R' appears in the field. The circumferential legend, composed of abbreviated Latin text, is arranged around the periphery and reads 'SVBQ. SIGN. NATA. STAB.', meaning 'Born under a steady sign', a reference to the Braganza dynastic motto. The design is enclosed within a toothed outer border consistent with milled coinage of the period. |
