| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Queen Sirikit, her hair elegantly swept up and adorned with an ornate jewelled headpiece; she wears a multi-strand beaded necklace and decorative drop earrings, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The surrounding Thai-script legend curves along the upper and lower periphery of the field, interrupted by two small rosette stops at each side. The coin commemorates the Queen's 36th birthday, marking the completion of three twelve-year cycles. |
