| Obverse description | The State Emblem of India, the Lion Capital of Ashoka, is depicted at centre, showing three lions passant upon an abacus adorned with a Dharmachakra flanked by a horse and a bull in relief. The national motto in Devanagari script, 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate, 'Truth Alone Triumphs'), appears in the legend directly below the emblem. The legend 'भारत' in Devanagari arcs along the left field and 'INDIA' in Latin script arcs along the right field. The denomination '₹60' is inscribed in large numerals along the lower field. |
