| Obverse description | Central field bears a four-line Arabic inscription within a raised circular border, reading the name of the issuing state (Al-Ghurfah), the abjad anagram '129' representing the name Saleh (the ruler), the dynastic name 'Abdāt, and the Hijri year 1344. The central inscription is framed by two crossed grain ears forming a wreath on either side, with the entire design enclosed by a beaded outer border. |
