| Description de l’avers | Printed entirely in green on buff paper, the obverse is divided into two vertical panels: the left panel carries the municipal coat of arms of Schwarzenau — a shield bearing a cross with a central medallion — above the issuer inscription in Gothic script, while the right panel presents the denomination in large ornate lettering at the top, beneath which a central vignette offers a panoramic townscape of Schwarzenau with a church spire and surrounding hills. The validity date '31. Dezember 1920' appears to the right of the vignette, and three facsimile signatures of the Finanzreferent, Bürgermeister, and Vize-Bürgermeister are arranged along the lower margin. |
