One of hundreds of Austrian Notgeld issues that flooded the market after the collapse of the Habsburg economy left small municipalities starved of small change. Pichl bei Windischgarsten is a village in Upper Austria's Pyhrn-Priel region, and like most Gemeinden of its size, it turned to local printers rather than any central authority. Jos.
