The upper portion contains a rectangular green vignette in Expressionist woodcut style showing a horse-drawn cart loaded with barrels, driven by a carter on a cobblestone road, illustrating the Untersberg legend of the wine carter and the mountain spirit. Below the vignette a green caption panel names the scene, followed by the redemption text in large bold lettering stating that the Municipality of Grödig will redeem this note by 31 December 1920 in legal currency, with three facsimile signatures of municipal officials. |
