| Reverse description | Central field features a finely detailed three-masted Dutch man-of-war under full sail, depicted sailing to the left over stylized waves, with flags and pennants flying from the mastheads. The ship's hull, rigging, and gun ports are rendered with exceptional engraving detail characteristic of the Dutch Golden Age maritime tradition. A Latin legend encircles the central design within a beaded border, separated from the raised rim. The entire reverse is struck on the same square klippe flan as the obverse, with reeded edges framing the projecting corners of the planchet. |
