A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, contained within a beaded border. |

| Description du revers | Central field features a finely detailed depiction of a Dutch three-masted sailing warship (scheepje) in full rigging, shown underway on stylized waves with flags flying from the mastheads, rendered in high relief with considerable engraving detail in the Dutch maritime tradition. A circular Latin legend surrounds the ship device, with stops separating the words. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
