Obverse description The field is occupied entirely by a bold multi-line inscription in large Roman capital letters reading WEST / FRISIA · / VI · STUIVERS / BANKGELT / 1674 ·, with the date in the lower portion of the field. Two small floral rosette ornaments appear in the upper field above the primary legend, serving as decorative stops. The coin is encircled by a continuous milled border of fine radial denticles. The overall design is strictly typographic, with no figurative heraldic elements, reflecting its specific status as bank money (bankgelt) intended for use with the Wisselbank.
